Zoom into NGC 3256 🔍 #shorts
This video takes the viewer on a journey through space to the peculiar galaxy NGC 3256.
This distorted galaxy is the wreckage of a head-on collision between two spiral galaxies which likely occurred 500 million years ago, and it is studded with clumps of young stars which were formed as gas and dust from the two galaxies collided.

I always think to myself that we are completely alone in this Universe.
Sure, I have no doubts that there is more Life out there, there has to be!… But they are also completely alone as we are.
Even for inside one same Galaxy distance scale, it is nearly impossible for any Life form to simply travel and visit a nearby system. It isn't a "just like that" thing that a being/civilization can do easily. The travel is nearly impossible to achieve, let alone do it for the transport of a life form. The amount of energy needed, and the incredible fragility of life…
But I really like to believe that it may be possible that somewhere, somehow, some civilization is doing that exploration using some sort of artificial probes, not for themselves (obviously) but for the knowledge of their future generations.
And that's just one pixel behind the Milky Way 🤯
That magnifcation is wild. It almost seems like what would happen if you had a 100,000,000mm zoom lens on a camera.
The universe is gorgeous! I don't believe in aliens but I think they are extremely possible. Galactic centers must be very busy the same way human civilizations are concentred by rivers and the coasts.
