NASA Star Party Helps Celebrate Inauguration
Video of a NASA star gazing “party” at the David M. Brown Planetarium in Arlington, Va. on Jan. 19. Free and open to the public, the event featured astronomers, astronauts, and other experts answering questions about the night sky. Telescopes were provided; planetarium shows were also held.
Request: Give us a report and CG animation of Being's new proposal for a manned Mars mission.
Looks like a fun event but the person who cut this video together should be shot into deep space without supplies. Terrible editing.
Very nice
Was that girl seriously trying to take a picture of the inside view of the telescope lense?
SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!
At 2:32:"So do you work at JPL?" — hilarious.
By the way, NASA, I really love these "slice of life" segments you put out more than anything else except the ISS tours. The "fly on the wall," narrator-free style is really enjoyable, and kind of reminiscent of Frederick Wiseman.
He almost got to say something about Io, heh.
2:23 Looking at the hair; "Sooo you work at JPL?" 😐
Those telescopes are so stacked!
Its great watching kids learn about space
