Herschel’s view of the Galactic Plane
This video shows a wealth of bright sources, wispy filaments and bubbling nebulas against the background of diffuse gas and dust, marking the spots where stars are being born in the Galaxy.
The video was compiled by stitching together several hundred hours of Herschel observations obtained as part of the Herschel infrared Galactic Plane Survey. It spans a vast portion – almost 40% – of the plane of the Milky Way, where most of the stars in the Galaxy form and reside.
Shaped as a disc, our Galaxy has a diameter of about 100 000 light-years and the Solar System is embedded in it, about half way between centre and periphery. From our vantage point, this huge disc of stars, gas and dust appears as a circular strip wound around the sky, familiar as the Milky Way in the night sky.
The view is a composite of the wavelengths of 70 microns (blue), 160 microns (green) and 350 microns (red).

In the Quran, Allah said that he decorated the lower sky with light bulbs. Indeed what a light bulbs. One of its many purposes is to shot any devil or Satan who tries to listen to the angels which devil do to harm the humans on earth. So next time you see a shooting star, know it is a devil that has been stopped from escaping or from harming the people. Also in the Quran Allah said that the sky is interconnected between each other, so even though the distance of the sky is great, all is connected to each other. And what amaze me the most is when Allah say that "The sky We have built firmly and We are extending it." And bare in mine that Allah also said that the heaven in the hereafter is AS WIDE AS the sky. So the expanding is for the believers the heaven is being prepared for them. What a mercy and what a great win and great luck to whom ever is walking on the strait path towards that heaven. This life even if it gets long will one day vanish but the hereafter is eternal. So take the strait path and take Satan and enemy and if Allah wells it you will with the BIGGEST WINERS and don't be with the BIGGEST LOSERS.
