  1. Do Maralinga in South Australia. The site of the British Nuclear tests there. The radiation from the tests is still drifting North East and it's a good reminder of how dangerous radiation can be when not managed. The fallout from the tests rained down on Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and all the pastural land in between. It was exposed by a local physicist who had placed radiation detectors all around the country before the tests, just to monitor out of his own curiosity. The image of this area from Space is fascinating to see. The radiation drifting NE, the unusual road terminations where the test sites were, less than 50km from an Interstate rail line.
