Why tf did you just talk about elephants for a good 3 minutes?
This is just a history of HOW Carthage fell, not an exploration of WHY Carthage fell. (With some random elephant facts in the middle, that's nice I suppose.)
I was hoping for an investigation of how sea-based trading thalassocracies square up against land-based farming empires. Maybe with some comparative investigation of Venice vs. the Ottoman Empire, or Britain vs. Germany, etc. etc. This is an acceptable summary of the events that led to the fall of Carthage, but it doesn't really answer the why. They probably should have picked a more accurate title for this video.
