We are working on a smooth rocket engine 🚀 #shorts
The Throttleable Liquid Propulsion Demonstrator can adjust its thrust, making landings smoother and safer than ever before.

Like a dimmer switch?🤣🤣🤣
Do you mean like a throttle?
Did he say "we could have reusable rockets" ? I didn't think that was possible…
I’d say you’re at least sixty four years late to the party but that’s just for a pump-fed engine in flight, varying feed pressure for a thrust chamber is a lot older than that.
Could you!? Let’s see Poland/EESA actually bring this to market, soon.
Wait, this wasn't a thing before?
POLAND MENTIONED !!!1!!1!!
I think that he means solid rocket engines. A hybrid solid engine is throttlleble. Vulcain engine has throttle control

Is there any value in making them swiftly relightable instead? I see 33 motors on the bottom of a rocket and wonder if throttle and gimbal could be dispensed with. As long as the landing burn is timed right and there's some flexibility in the landing structure, throttle is needed only to make it last longer/cost more fuel.
Not exactly serious. New rocket news is always welcome.
I will follow your link to learn more, and understand what specific capabilities it has, I mean, the throttle variation could be very deep and it would be interesting to know how it was possible and if the technology and control techniques can be transferred to other designs with small or big changes.
I thought rocket engines been doing that since the Saturn V
love ESA. Does someone know if its Brussels liaison office proposes vacancies?
Very cool
Like Elon Musk rockets
reusable rockets that can land and take off multiple times?!?!? that’s crazy… this is unprecedented territory…. (this man is stuck in 1970)
im only messing of course, i get the idea of the video i just think it could’ve been marketed better.
