Message from British ESA astronaut Tim Peake aboard the International Space Station to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 31 December 2015.

Tim Peake is spending six months in space to run experiments for scientists on Earth and maintain humanity’s research station 400 km above our planet.

  1. you should at least show queenie out the window!!!! i would love to see the british isles from space, but accept like everyone else that were not allowed. instead were subject to uninspiring rubbish from the inside of a trash-can. Does anyone else feel totally bored of the iss or wonder what they are doing up there?- (all of 400k high)!! all this fuss and ado over something that is approx 250000 miles from the moon!!!! if only nasa didnt destroy/lose the original master plans of the 50 years ago mission!!!!
