The Chernobyl Liquidators
☢️April 26, 1986 was the date of the worst nuclear disaster in history. ☢️
What was supposed to be a standard safety test, ended up with the explosion of reactor number 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Ukraine, in the Soviet Union.
Once the fire was extinguished, and the danger of further explosions eliminated, what remained was a complete mess.
It was a mess that someone had to clean up.
Around 600,000 people were recruited by the Soviet government for the job.
They were known as Liquidators.

3.6 roentgen. Not great. Not terrible either.
Wait i thought the Reactors would liquidate the liquidators , this isnt how the Soviet Union works.
Well if this lasted a few years they're gonna need a lot of IR-190 wine booze and other things that can reduce radiation
FUN FACT: even hazmat suits or chemical suits wont stop radiation from entering your body but it will reduce it significantly and when you're exposed you're fine as long as it hasn't been days of exposure because of radiation poisoning
EXTRA LIFE TIP: bring a dosimiter every where you go (optional/if you have one) so you always know how much radiation you've accumulated per hour ok bye 🙂
