  1. Are you a european or living in a country descended from europeans? Are you a woman? Are you gay? Do you currently live in a free country? Are you an atheist, christian, hindu, sikh or a shia muslim?Do you believe in the principles of liberalism such as human rights, free speech and free press etc.? If yes then thank charles martel, count odo and the french armies who stopped the caliphate from rolling into europe and destroying western civilization! Hurray for the franks! I like not having my head cut off for making fun of religious zealots whos actions go against everything they claim to believe in (conservative americans)

  2. In the french subtitles, the old french word "ost" , which means "army" is incorrectly translated as "hôte", which is the modern french form of ths word "host". ("footman" has also been translated as "valet" instead of "fantassin"). But the video is very good. In France we mainly know about the battle of Poitiers, and i have nearly never heard about the battle of Toulouse before.

  3. a shame this 'history' is written by catholics.
the Franks at this time were only around Isle de France, the island of the Franks, around Paris, Lutece.
    France didn't exist yet.
this was Occitania , in the Langue D'Oc.
    this is Roman revisionism.
