4:20 That's gotta be one of those ultimatums meant to be turned down so the claimant has an easy reason to go to war, right?
There's way no way the French would land lock themself in the west like that and Henry V must have known that.
Stop calling it England vs France. It was a dynastic struggle.
Very nice video. One note tho. The tower roofs looked almost like the english colorwise so in the beginning of the video it was a bit confusing as i thought that the city had an english garrison.
The way the English talk about the 100 Years War as if they won it is just gold. They constantly harp on about the few battles they won and forget they lost the war
I love the colors on this one! So vivid!
Next please….
Disgusting
Every time I watch a scene of a french yelling at the english from a high wall I can only think of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
I think the English should have accepted the French counter-offer
Far from me the idea of judging our friends from the Anglo-saxon world, but 98% of the the english speaking videos dealing about the 100 years war talk about Azincourt, 1% about Crecy and 1% about Jeanne D'Arc. Cm'on guys, I know it always feel better to talk about the victories of your own country, but still, you do know that the Kingdom of England also lost several battles against the french and ultimately lost the war ? Right ?
