the only reason that the other one is swinging, is it is transferring the energy from the moving one to the one that is still, this is basically like the newtons cradle but more cool!

Nope, that would make it a perpetuum mobile. It slows down just like a normal pendulum.
Because whichever pendulum you put into motion it will stay in motion until the energy transfers to the other pendulum
