Norwegian students consider a career in space
Young Norwegians talk about their studies and what makes them consider a career in space.
At the University of Oslo we met a lot of Norwegian students who have plans for a career in space.
ESA colleague Kim Nergaard explained to them why ESA and its Young Graduate Trainee programme is a great opportunity to come on board.
3:21 yeah I know I would answer exactly the same. haha
As a Norwegian Automatition, I too would love too work for ESA… One day…
I am a 16 year old Norwegian. I'm taking IB, with Physics, Chemistry and Maths at high level, in addition to Norwegian and English A and history at standard level.
I get rather good grades (5-7, with 6-7 in Physics, Chemistry and Maths). Where should I study if I want as much interaction with ESA as possible?
I have a question: At the moment I'm 22 and studying Materials Science and Engineering in Germany, Bachelor, intending to achieve a Master degree. It was always my dream to be a part of space exploration and the needed technologies. After some research I found the ESTEC, european space technology and research centre, might be the right place to ask for an internship as my first "footstep" into ESA, matching my ambitions. Do you think that could work? Does anyone have any experiences? Or maybe someone from ESA can give me some advice, please? Thank you.
