NASA/Johnson Space Center Project Manager Julie Mitchell answers questions during a NASA Digital Learning Network (DLN) interactive broadcast, from 11th Grade Students and future Educators participating in the JSC High School Aerospace Scholars (HAS) and JSC Pre-Service Teacher Institute (PSTI) programs.

NASA DLN broadcasts are connecting students around the country with the live mission operations being done by the International Space Station Flight Control Team. ISS flight controllers, astronauts and scientists answer student’s questions about living and working in space, how the Houston mission control center operates, and a wealth of other topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

  1. why wouldn't small amounts of bleach, a total disinfectant not, kill all the pathogens as a weight saving alternative to the acids? and to the PR girl, i will personally reprocess you urea through my kidneys.
