Monitoring ozone

The ozone layer protects life on Earth from ultraviolet radiation but it is also a powerful greenhouse gas. Satellites can provide measurements of atmospheric ozone and monitor distribution changes with the seasons.

  1. They say humans are the largest culprit. Tell us why human are to blame if you charge us with being a culprit. Looking at the animation you assume we are getting this from Copernicus satellites does it also have a magnetometer on that satellite?
