Good vid,but often conveniently forgotten,that there was a Franco-Scottish contingent under Bernard Stuart,Seigneur of Aubigny fighting for Henry Tudor (later Henry VII) at Bosworth Field(1485) [ 0.40]
P.S. This battle,has become known as :
(a) commemorated by the Scots,by the famous lament and present (unofficial) anthem,'The Flowers of The Field'
(b) commemorated by the English,espec. by the (Fitzalan-) Howard family,with the eventual regaining of their,previously forfeited Duchy of Norfolk,a year
later,alongside an augmented heraldic quartering of a royal Scottish lion,pierced through the mouth with an arrow !
