So cool! This is why if you put a wet blanket on a fire, it’s important not to take it off too soon! If you take away the heat-absorbing water, the fire can start again!

Can you make the water boil inside the balloon and expand the balloon?
I took a plastic water bottle and heated it with a mapp gas torch, the bottle melted. I thought that the water would prevent it from melting. Is there a certain temperature that this no longer works or why did it melt?
