Have we detected the first medium-sized #BlackHole? π€ #shorts
Our #Gaia spacecraft has captured a huge dark blob, 800 times more massive than our Sun which seems to be squeezed into a surprisingly small volume of space suggesting it could be an intermediate-mass black hole.

Imagine Earth being swallowed by a black hole. Terrifying.
Hi @europeanspaceagency , which cluster in Scorpius is this, Messier 4? Keep up the great work!!
Wohooooo
Black Holes are one of the most fascinating subjects in astrophysics. This is incredibleπ

One suggestion I would like to give is to have a bit of a gap between sentences which would make it easier to follow the narrator's words.
We have already detected several intermediate black hole (50-500 solar masses) via gravitational waves or other more classical ways.
As the mass of this black hole is not given here it is possible that it is the first in a specific mass range, but not the first medium-sized black hole ever.
Thank you ESA
