Dasht e lut is a SAND DESERT not salt desert. the neighboring Dasht e Kavir is a salt desert!!
"Lut" is in reference to "Loot", meaning, it has been looted by nature.
Uhh excuse me, go to the remote Australian desert in January where no one lives there, I’m pretty sure it’s hotter there
