Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, and Gneisenau would have been one hell of a fight against the Royal Navy and possibly the United States.
It would’ve been one hell of an operation to even hear about too. Unfortunately, it just goes to show that politics and a not so effective chain of command dictate when things go wrong. Even I knew as a kid, the invasion in the east was a bad move.
Bismarck was a straight up beast. But without the others, this fight was a gamble.
