🚩 The Franks, led by Charles Martel, met the Muslim army commanded by Abd al-Rahman, the Umayyad governor of Spain, in early October 732 AD. Some have argued that this brief conflict influenced the fate of Christian civilization in Europe, while others see it as a simple border skirmish. The truth, it seems, lies somewhere in-between.

  2. And what about the battle of Damietta, in which more than 30,000 French crusaders were killed and the battle of Mansoura, in which 100,000 crusaders were killed & sent to hellfire, and the king of the franks, Louis ix captured during the 7th Crusade ..this how muslims stopped the christian crusaders in Egypt

  3. Thank you for this new video. Actually, it seems that the sources for it are gathered from one side. I don't think there is a balance of information here which makes somewhat a contradictory documentary. First of all, the name of Muslim leader is Abdul-Rahman al-Ghafqy. So his surname should be Ghafqy, not al-Rahman, which according to Muslims, is one of God's names and description. More importnaly, It's very clear for all early Muslims that attacking any house of worshiping, whether a church, synagoge or temple is utterly forbiden (Haram) according to the direct teachings of Prophet Mohammed. So, how can any reasonable person believe that al-Ghafqy army looted churches, while he was known as a pious Muslim who stuck to to Prophet teachings? Unless of course those churches had been used for military purposes by the Franks. If this possibilty was true, then attcking those chrches was justifiable (according to any rule of engagement). However, I dismiss that, and still making aggression against houses of worship is so dangerous on any Muslim, as it can go to the limit of excluding any one who purposly does this abhorable action out of Islam.
On the other hand, one must repeat over and over that those wars were done not for extension, or for creating greater empires for Ummayads or Abbasids. The idea was very clear: Allow for peoples to hear about Islam. And allow for any one believe in Islam if he or she wants to. This is the real reason for those Arabs to go all over the world: to convey a message, so everyony to be free whether to believe or not believe. In the mean time, Islam rules are very clear to prevent domination over other nations, and aggression and occupation are not options in Islam. But of course, kingdoms of Europe could not give religious freedom to their people, because they used faith as a political tool to grasp together their nations.

  4. No mention of the heavy defeat of the Muslims in 737 at the south of Narbonne at the battle of the Berre River , by Charles, where he took by surprise a great Muslim army coming from Spain for helping Narbonne against the siege made by Charles. In this battle it was not about a raid but a strategic battle.
On military point of view it was more important , but because it is linked with the failure of the siege of Narbonne, it is less known. And i guess this is why they use the battle of Tours as symbol.

  5. Fast forward to today where the EU invites Muslim invaders in by the million then pays them to breed like rabbits… Our ancestors would spin in their graves and the stupidity of our so called leaders… Altruism is perhaps the most dangerous drug of all. Turning once pragmatic nations into virtue signalling fools. Todays Islamic leadership probably couldn’t believe the naivety of todays Europe until it became to obvious to ignore.

  6. Franks foiled one Muslim raiding party and their descendants celebrate it like they stopped the invasion of the entire Mongolian horde's unified steppe tribes lead by Ghengis Khan himself 😂
