🚩The Battle of the Field of Blood and the broader struggle for Aleppo was an intensely complex affair, drawing in many factions—Frankish, Turkish, Armenian, Arab, and Byzantine. Like so many of the Crusader States’ wars, it was rarely a simple matter of Christians versus Muslims.

🚩I apologise for the delay. My father is seriously ill and, without going into too much detail, we have surgery scheduled for June 22nd. Needless to say this has caused a lot of stress and worry, and it's quite difficult for me to focus. I will try to complete the Battle of Badr as soon as possible and also work on Hannibal episodes. See you all soon!

Do Boudicca wars like hannibal
makes me wanna play Crusader Kings
The city didn't look to the crusaders for protection. It was a few unpopular soldiers who were trying to control the city who did that. Don't whitewash history, this type of narrative is the work of french historians who during colonial times tried to present themselves as part of the region. On a different note, a knight doesn't march alone but with a retinue that can reach 20 riders. So 700 knights translates to many times that number in soldiers.
Should've waited for reinforcements.
Now that we broke their lines, we can swing back and win this battle! Right after a little nap at that cosy building.
Looking at the crusades you just want to slap them all for their stupidity. How many times they could have won had they not chased fleeing enemies, or not re-joining the battle after they forced their enemies to flee?
a head on charge, even against light horsemen? Rookie. Hannibal sandwiches the enemy in encirclement.
Ilghazi: "It was damned near-run thing!"
yea the thing about the ridge wallet is it doesnt hold 500$ cash safety so doesnt suit me
Your map is a bit wrong. It should say "Rascia" instead of Serbia. Rascia, Zachumlia and Bosnia combined were considered "Serbia/Serb land".
Good video as usual i though comment section of this channel was immune from keyboard warriors guess i was wrong..
that women scares me too
Im your biggest fan
Great video as always! As you promised before to cover more battles of Khalid Ibn Alwalid, I’m eagerly waiting…
