Did they ever find out who the Scotish soldier was, mooning at the English from the fortifications at Berwick..? 😛
Historymarche had outdone themselves with these visuals and storytelling!

…off stage…William Wallace🏴👍
That's my favourite chapter of Scottish history. Hope to hear a small bit about rumoured origins of Wallace as a poacher and a thief (lad literally stole beer in Perth from some unlucky lady) in the coming video. Don't forget the romantic version of the story where Haselrig killed his wife was invented 150 years later. Wallace was basically on the run and killing Haselrig might have been just an action of a renegade against law officers.
Great video!

I'm a descendant of John Comyn the Red's uncle. After being captured he was sent to Flanders to right for the English in return for being released. He returned to Scotland to fight alongside William Wallace. After they lost to the English, Comyn remained the most powerful noble in Scotland and a rival to Bruce for the Scottish crown. He was assassinated at a church altar while unarmed where the Comyn uncle was killed as well trying to defend his nephew from Bruce and his armed companions. He initially survived but Bruce sent his companions back to the church to kill him.
