In English it’s pronounced Macedonia. It may be the correct local pronunciation, but it becomes incorrect just as much as one wouldn’t refer to the Germans as the Deutsch.

Does it bug anyone else that he says Macedonia wrong? I have always heard it as MAS-A-DON-EEA not MAK-A-DON-EEA…… To me it sounds like is taking about macadamia nuts.
