I believe its is the infinite loop of weight weighing down on the knifes from the glass. Which is being supported by each bottle. I've done this in gym chess were we sat on each others Papua in
Laps till it formed a circle*
Because of the arrangement of the knives, each supports & is supported by another so the support the glass on top
