Foams are ubiquitous in our daily lives: they are used to produce food, detergents and plastics. Foams are inherently unstable in gravity, because the liquid between the bubbles is pulled downwards bursting the bubbles in the process. Experiments on the International Space Station have shown that foams are more stable in microgravity because they remain wet. It has even been possible to make foams from pure water.
Foam research in microgravity allows researchers to better understand the processes and calculate models in the most optimal conditions. This is leading to better production and assembly of products containing foams as well as more effective foam-suppression agents.
Many industrial applications benefit from foam research and development in space: cleaning products, cosmetics, fire-fighting and medicines are just some examples. The quality, texture, taste and shelf-life of food and beverages can be enhanced – from the supermarket to the consumers’ fridge.

When we open the bottle cap ( softdrinks) in space after shaking it well … that scene will be unbelievable in microgravity 😍😍i wish to see that #ESA (NICE CONTENT LOVE IT)👌🏻
E deu-se o facto extraordinário da comparação das espumas…Para os cientistas fica o borbulhar de emoções na descoberta para várias áreas… O que advir deste labor não mais será apagado assim!! Como a espuma se pode transformar num tesouro de argumentos! A ideia mais simples pode tornar-se um labirinto espumoso!!
Entre o ponto terrestre e espacial?? vendo as bolhas esparsas…etéreas transfugas de gravidade e o inverso!! Boa sorte neste projecto científico …e que se faça a festa da espuma no borbulhar do champanhe!! Interessante mesmo…

It's quite exiting and beautiful. We also hope to achieve an intentional, indirect death rate similar to that of the 1990's, during the baby-formula genocides. It's our commitment to bring eugenics to the forefront of space research."

I have always wondered about biological tissue culture in no gravity. Perhaps subtle structures like organs could also be more stable and form more easily.
