Searching for the building blocks of life, sending robots to scout the Solar System and preparing the way for human exploration. With the International Space Station, humankind has already built a permanent outpost in space but this is just the beginning.

Exploration brings scientific knowledge, innovation, economic benefits and inspiration to us all. Join us as we explore our Solar System and unlock the secrets of the Universe.
This video originally aired at the “Space for inspiration” event held in Bilbao 29–31 October 2018.

Space for Inspiration is an international conference we organised for everyone curious about space exploration and why it matters. The second edition focused on how space can be a powerful instrument for positive change – and new businesses – on planet Earth.

  1. This feels like awkward propaganda with no throughline. What was the point of this video? We’re doing research and exploring space and one day, maybe in 20,000 years, our minds will be blown with what we discover?

  2. I have always wondered why the radio signals of the pyramids at giza have never been examined, if you were arriving to this planet from a distant place, the beacon of the pillar of light is clearly visible from any direction in space, first reaction of incoming vehicles, tune into that light. you would get the gravity measurements, weather, atmospheric composition, all kinds of telemetry. if you could adapt to those atmosphere parameters, come on in, if you need to acclimate, remain in orbit.  curious thing is, there are two pyramids identified as transmitters, a third is orientation. two big ones and a small orientation signal. what are the signals, in what language, and what is the continuous telemetry being sent?
