Not as a proportion of their income . . . would you have preferred 'Defense' contractor then? The technology for putting the rover in its landing ellipse is entirely an elaboration of the same technologies that put an ICBM on target with a 5m CEP. Military investments in aerospace engineering made that possible, I'm sorry that that doesn't fit in with the prog narrative you've developed for yourself. Perhaps your view is the one that's warped?
