3D: ATV’s long journey
Travelling over 6 million kilometres, follow the epic voyage of ESA’s Automated Transfer Vehicle in full 3D, from assembly and shipment to Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana to launch and docking with the International Space Station.
Automated Transfer Vehicles (ATVs) are the most complex space vehicles ever developed in Europe and are the largest and most capable resupply ships to dock with the Space Station.
Dreadful images, everything with an edge was fringed with red.
Both the rocket and the ATV are impressive. ESA did a great job with the system.
Great vehicle, but crappy 3D even with the red/blue glasses on. No sense of depth at all, and double images in alot of footage.
I'm finishing my training as Mechatronic in January 2015. I want to work for ESA where must I apply?
Neonstyle just put the edge of your hand between your eyes to get the 3D
Amazing vehicles. But, when we will see an 100% reusable vehicle.
How do I watch it in 3D? It just looks like two images side by side.
Very happy to see a launch on 3d, Seen perfect on customized Google cardboard.
So, as the ISS obviously needs this kind of service also in future, why is this the last ATV? Who will do the next cargo transports to the ISS?
Why it does not longer fly?
