30 Years of Science with the Hubble Space Telescope
On 24 April 1990 the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope was sent into orbit aboard the space shuttle Discovery, the first space telescope of its kind. It offered a new view of the Universe and has, for 30 years, reached and surpassed all expectations, beaming back data and images that have changed scientists’ understanding of the Universe and the public’s perception of it. Hubble’s discoveries have revolutionised nearly all areas of current astronomical research, from planetary science to cosmology, and its pictures are unmistakably out of this world.
This video revisits some of Hubble’s biggest science discoveries throughout its three decades of operation to celebrate the telescope’s 30th anniversary.

O…. futuro além do tempo 🙏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
That is Lovable Learning Journey by HST 👌
Very nice information
I get the conclusion. If there are systems and law, there must be super being who possess super wisdom, power and intelligence.
Wish we had something like Superman so all the space missions would be a breeze.
Launching satellites into right orbits. Done
Removing space debris. Done
Launching bigger instruments. Done
But I guess we wouldn't have been satisfied still, because of human nature to make things better than they currently are.
Thank you for this video and yes, hubble is Awesome. 😃
Very interesting and even necessary at this time, since many of us just want to leave this mess at least virtually. Thank you.
I really love this narrator’s voice. Her voice was so good.
I hope that it supports in the mission to the web tests telescope I hope if they have picture of hobo taking pictures of the Webb Telescope in its orbit pin take a picture of it in orbit and spreading his wings or you know where is job when he gets up there in 2020 26 2028
Happy birthday Hubble!
If Hubble is so great, then why are they willing to destroy it in fire, instead of saving it for posterity. I would prefer that they save it
It all starts from the time when Edwin Hubble was born
NASA pays a great Tribute to him after they built HST
Thank You ESA for making such a beautiful and fascinating documentary on Hubble.
